About the Shirt

Printed on Comfort Colors 1717, the heavyweight garment-dyed tee the good vintage brands build on, not the thin one that comes five to a bag.

Every shirt is dyed after it's sewn, which is why the color has depth to it and why no two come out exactly alike. Yours will have its own character. That's the point.

It arrives already broken in and gets softer every wash.

On sizing

This shirt runs roomy through the body. Take your usual size for the classic relaxed look. If you want something closer to the body, size down; a lot of customers do.
Washing Instructions

How to keep your tee looking its best:

  • Wash in cold water only
  • Turn it inside out before washing
  • Use a gentle detergent
  • Wash with like colors, since garment-dyed cotton can bleed a little on the first wash
  • Hang dry or tumble dry low

Drying:

  1. Tumble dry on low, or hang to dry
  2. Keep it away from high heat
  3. Pull it from the dryer promptly to cut down on wrinkles

A few extra tips:

  • Skip the bleach and harsh detergents
  • Skip the fabric softener
  • Don't iron directly on the print
  • A little softening and fading over time is the charm, and it only gets better with age
